Mendeley Cite (another part of the Mendeley Reference Manager suite) directs you to Microsoft Appsource, which is not compatible with Office 365 at LBU.įor further guidance please contact your Academic Librarian Team. Here you should see a menu load which contains Mendeley Cite.
To do this, click on the Insert tab and select the My Add-ins option. To access Mendeley Cite after you have installed it in Word 2016, you will need to access it through the add-ins menu. Note: The Mendeley Citation plugin (Cite-o-Matic) is currently available for Mendeley Desktop only. Microsoft have stated that they will not be implementing a fix for this. If not, just click More Styles at the bottom of the drop-down list and select. Next search in the Get more styles tab for your preferred style and add it. Check that the Style list has Leeds Beckett University - Harvard by clicking on it. The Mendeley Cite-O-Matic tab should now show on the References ribbon. In Mendeley Desktop click on Tools in the top left menu and choose Install MS Word Plugin.
When you download Mendeley Desktop you will be prompted to install the Citation plugin for Microsoft Word. This will enable you to quickly insert citations and generate a bibliography in alphabetical order and in the correct style in any Word document. If you have a personal Office account, you should be able to download the plug-in on this.
The XML file containing your selected references will begin to download, and this file can then be opened using Microsoft Word. Pl ease Note: The Mendeley plugin for Word is currently not available on student Office 365 accounts.
